TOP 10 Bands That Should Bring In Adam Lambert

I know I’m going to take a hit to my “Man Cred” but I watched American Idol this season. Um…my gorgeous Swedish bikini model girlfriend and her twin sister made me. While being “forced” to watch I discovered “Glambert” and from that point on I knew he was going to win. Well, he didn’t win. But now he doesn’t have to put out an American Idol controlled album so it kind of worked out for him anyway. Instead of going solo and starting a career from scratch, I thought it would be a better idea for him to just take the reigns of a former band and restore them to glory. These are my TOP 10 bands that should bring in Adam Lambert.
10. The Darkness

After Justin Hawkins left the band to fix his drug habit, The Darkness was no more. The remaining members formed Stone Gods and that’s about all I know about them. Shows how well that went. Bring back The Darkness, toss in Adam Lambert and it will be like they never left.
9. The Misfits

It’s not like the Misfits haven’t replaced members before. In fact, it might be time again for a little restructuring. Jerry Only is the current lead singer but has anyone heard anything from them lately? I think it’s high time we get a new face for the misfits and I’m sure Lambert could rock the “devilock” hair style as well as anyone.
8. Faith No More

Mike Patton is a busy guy. From Mr. Bungle to Fantomas to Tomahawk and Peeping Tom, voicing video game characters and cartoons he probably has no time for reforming one of my favorite bands of all time. Though there are rumors to FNM reuniting, I wouldn’t be opposed to Lambert stepping in. At least until Mike Patton really does come back.
7. Poison

Brett is too busy banging skanks on cable to come up with anything worthwhile lately and I’m pretty sure Adam would be more interested in “rocking out” than having his “world rocked” by some ex-stripper looking for TV exposure.
6. Quiet Riot

Quiet Riot could never find that winning formula again after the few actual hits it created. Then the death of Kevin Dubrow sealed their fate. Bringing in Adam Lambert might give the band a new shot in the arm. I would love the chance to “Bang My Head” all over again.
5. Alice in Chains

After the death of Layne Staley, Alice in Chains was destined to fade away. Recently they announced a new album would be coming soon with William Duvall as the lead but I have no interest in the band without Staley. Unless of course they put Adam in.
4. The Doors

It’s time to get those guys off their ass and stop them from releasing yet another “Best of”. Adam Lambert has proven he can be completely unpredictable with his music but unlike Morrison, he seems like he might also be reliable. And while he doesn’t have the same sound as the original group, I can see Lambert creating something great from what once was.
3. Van Halen

Sure, they may be back together now (or are they?) but you know it won’t last. Forget Van Halen, forget Van Haggar. I’m ready for some Van Lambert!
2. Guns ‘N Roses

100 years later and we finally get “Chinese Democracy”. Let’s pretend we didn’t and replace the now Donny Osmond looking Rose for a more “current” looking rock star who can actually hold a high note without the asthma kicking in.
1. Queen

The most obvious choice which is my it made my number one is Queen. After seeing Lambert perform with the remaining members on the finale of American Idol, it’s easy to see that this can and would work. Freddie Mercury is a tough person to replace but Adam stepped in and made the old band feel new again. Here’s hoping I’m not the only one who noticed.

Adam Lambert blows. He should be mopping floors so people who actually have talent can perform in clean environments.
to dan the fucktard
I’m surprised nose-breathers like you can somehow manage to type…ummmm…you are a sad sad excuse for a fucktard even….you are really great you know that? I bet everybody loves to be around you.
Umm.. where the hell is:
Judas Priest
Anthrax
Iron Maiden (or Fuckin Maiden)
He’d be good w/ just about any 80’s band – Scorpions, Iron Maiden or Judas Preist – but the 80’s are over and so is Adam’s 15 minutes.
