When I’m asked what I thought about the new Dark Knight movie, I can’t answer because I haven’t seen it. My friends are baffled, my parents are embarrassed and my girlfriend will no longer sleep with me until I do. Mostly it has to do with free time, but then there are these TOP 10 Irrational Reason Why I Haven’t Seen The Dark Knight.
10. Can’t afford to drive to a theater at these gas prices.
9. No half animal-patterned suits and melty-purple skin.
8. Because it is inevitable that Shia Labeouf will end up as the next Robin.
7. I can’t over look that the Joker was in “A Knight’s Tale”.
6. No Vicki Vale.
5. Still waiting for them to put the nipples back on the Batsuit.
4. I don’t want to spend the rest of my student loan on drinks, popcorn, tickets.
3. Maggie Gyllenhaal.
2. Because everyone around me has seen it and leaked enough about the story that I feel like I’ve watched it three times already.
1. Since it’s made over $390 million dollars in 3 weeks…they don’t really need me.

I am gonna say Maggie is the best reason for not watching this. Acting-wise she is on the same level as Halle Berry, of course she doesn’t have the looks. Looks-wise she is on the same level as Jake, dressed like a burn victim… covered in clown makeup… Given pot holders to stuff up his shirt… and passed off as a girl. Bruce Wayne is a fucking millionaire, you want me to believe he would risk his life for her? He was banging whats-her-name-Katinkslovichnaya and now he is going to want an ugly chick? Hell no, no Holly wood, I bought the E.T. thing and almost got into Waterworld… But this is where I draw the line!

I too have yet to see it. Cost of tickets and gas are too much, plus no time. I will wait for dvd which the way things go will be here by christmas I am sure.
I can’t wait to see Heath though but I will always remember him as the knight from A Knights Tale.
NOT INTO BATMAN MOVIES BUT AWESOME MOVIE. A MUST SEE!
